Terms of use

For the Pocket Frens app, your Pocket Fren and Pocket Frens Plus. Last updated 28 October 2026.

These terms are between you and UpLevel Technologies LLC, doing business as AirFrens^® ("we"), the makers of Pocket Frens. If you got the app from the App Store, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies. Reserving a Pocket Fren on this site has its own reservation terms.

Your account

• You must be 13 or older, and old enough where you live to agree to these terms.
• Keep your email account secure: it's how you sign in. You're responsible for what happens with your account and Pocket Frens.
• Be kind. Don't use Pocket Frens to harass people, send anything unlawful, or try to break or overload the service. We may suspend accounts that do.

Pocket Frens Plus

• Pocket Frens Plus is a monthly subscription that includes credits for Pocket Frens AI. The price is shown in the app before you buy.
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
• It renews automatically each month unless you turn auto-renew off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the next month within 24 hours before the period ends.
• You can manage or cancel it any time in your Apple Account settings (Settings › your name › Subscriptions). Cancelling stops the next renewal; Plus keeps working until the end of the period you've paid for.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.

Credits

• Pocket Frens AI uses credits for each reply. A short reply usually uses one; a longer one can use more.
• Plus credits are refreshed each month and don't roll over. Credits you buy in packs don't expire.
• New accounts get a small number of free credits once, to try Pocket Frens AI.
• Credits have no cash value, can't be transferred or exchanged, and are only for Pocket Frens AI. If Apple refunds a purchase, the credits it added are removed.
• We may change how many credits a reply uses. If that change is meaningful, we'll tell you in the app first.

Pocket Frens AI

• Pocket Frens AI writes replies with an AI model. They can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, so don't rely on them for medical, legal, financial or safety decisions.
• Don't use it to create anything unlawful or harmful. The model provider's usage rules apply too.

Connected assistants, Muse and other companies' products

• If you connect an assistant such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Grok, or pair Muse, your use of it is between you and its maker, under its own terms and privacy policy. We don't control those products and can't promise they will keep working with Pocket Frens.
• UpLevel Technologies LLC (AirFrens) isn't affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Meta, OpenAI, Anthropic, Google or xAI. Their product names are used only to describe what Pocket Frens works with and are trademarks of their owners.

The service

• We work to keep Pocket Frens running and to keep your Pocket Fren updated, but the service is provided as it is, and features may change.
• To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law.
• You can stop using Pocket Frens and delete your account any time (Profile › Delete account).

Your data

The app privacy policy explains what we keep, why and for how long.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll update the date above and tell you in the app before it takes effect.
