Privacy notice

Pocket Frens is made by AirFrens ("we"). This notice covers the reservation form on this site. The Pocket Frens app has its own privacy details in the app.
What we keep
- Your email address.
- How many Pocket Frens you'd like (1 to 3) and your country.
- That you confirmed you're 18 or older and accepted the reservation terms, and when.
- Whether you'd like product news, and when you said so.
- Your reservation's status (waiting for confirmation, confirmed or cancelled) and when it changed.
- Secure fingerprints (hashes) of the links in our emails, never the links themselves.
To stop abuse, we count requests for an hour against a hashed form of your IP address and email. Those counters expire on their own.
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers.
Why
- To confirm your reservation by email (you click a link to say it's really you).
- To tell you the price and when orders open, and to plan how many to make and where to ship.
- To send occasional Pocket Frens news, only if you ticked the box. You can stop it any time.
We use your reservation details because you asked us to hold a reservation for you, and we send news only with your consent.
How long
- A reservation that's never confirmed is deleted after 7 days.
- A cancelled reservation is deleted 30 days after you cancel. We keep it that long so the cancel link still works if you click it again.
- A confirmed reservation is kept until you cancel it or ask us to delete it, or until we no longer need it for the launch.
Who handles it for us
- Cloudflare runs this site and the Pocket Frens servers.
- Neon hosts the database (in the United States).
- Resend sends our emails.
They process your data only on our instructions. We don't sell your data or share it with advertisers.
Your choices
Every email from us has a link to cancel your reservation, which also stops product news. You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it, by writing to hello@pocketfrens.com. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
If this notice changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and, for big changes, email people with a reservation.
